Nikon D780 Camera Firmware 1.10 - Description

Fixed the following issues:

- Added support for the iOS edition of NX MobileAir. Use NX MobileAir version 1.0.4 or later.
- The camera sometimes stopped responding if [Auto] was selected for [PHOTO SHOOTING MENU] > [Set Picture Control].
- Subject tracking AF could not be used when [1920x1080; 100p] or [1920x1080; 120p] was selected for [Frame size/frame rate] in the movie shooting menu.
- The camera was unable to focus using autofocus if an AI AF VR Zoom-Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED lens was attached and the lens vibration reduction switch was turned on and off.

Viewing the Camera Firmware Version:

- Turn the camera on.
- Press the camera MENU button and select Firmware version in the SETUP MENU to display the camera firmware version.
- Check the camera firmware version.
- Turn the camera off.

Updating the Camera Firmware:

- Create a folder on the computer hard disk and name it as desired.
- Save the downloadable file to the newly-created folder.
 - Run the package to extract a .bin file (the camera firmware) to a folder named “D780Update”
- Using a card slot or card reader, copy .bin file to a memory card that has been formatted in the camera.
- Insert the memory card into the Slot 1 on the camera and turn the camera on.
- Select Firmware version in the SETUP MENU and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
- Once the update is complete, turn the camera off and remove the memory card.
- Confirm that the firmware has been updated to the new version.
