Wacom Intuos 4 Tablet Driver 6.3.40-2 - Description

Improvements for a richer Wacom customer experience:

- Users of touch-enabled pen displays can now assign modifier keys (Cmd, Opt, etc.) to On-Screen Controls and combine those modifiers with pen input, other On-Screen Controls, ExpressKeys, keyboard keystrokes and even mouse input. This makes the On-Screen Controls work like ExpressKeys.
- Users of touch-enabled pen displays can now disable touch input, except for on the On-Screen Controls. This prevents unintended touch when using On-Screen Controls.
- The Wacom Desktop Center now has a direct link to the Wacom ID account.
- A new Tip-Up Assist feature helps with pixel-accurate positioning of objects (vector lines, nodes and other control points) on high resolution screens (for Pro Pen 2, Pro Pen 3D and Pro Pen Slim users).

Resolved Issues:

- Enabled Devices - All models - We made improvements to palm rejection on a variety of devices.
- All Devices - All models - We fixed an issue with the tumble pen button function not properly rotating a 3-D model when hovering the pen over the model.
- All Devices - All models - We corrected an unsupported device error that was seen on some Tablet PCs.

Known Issues:

- Cintiq Pro - DTH-1320, 1620 - After using Tablet Mode, when you switch back to Display Mode, the pen does not correctly map back onto the Cintiq Pro, but continues to map to the display screen(s). What you can do about it while we fix it: There is a Monitor drop-down menu in the Wacom Tablet Properties Calibration tab. Select the Cintiq Pro from the drop-down list. Alternatively, you can disconnect the Cintiq Pro from the computer and then reconnect. Or, you can restart the Cintiq Pro.
- Intuos Pro - PTH-451, 651, 851 - In Wireless mode on Windows 7 the pen will occasionally jump to the top left of your monitor. What you can do about it while we fix it: Connect the tablet via the USB cable if you experience this problem.

About Tablet Bundle Drivers:

This package includes several file types, such as Audio, Chipset, Graphics, Ethernet and other drivers (even a firmware update), that are required after a Windows OS is installed so that the tablet works at the highest level of performance possible.

If you wish to update the versions using this bundle package, know that it can improve the tablet's overall performance, stability and usability, resolve different problems, enhance touch experience and connection strength, and bring about other related changes.

Before applying this bundle make sure that the current release is compatible with your tablet model; if this checks outs, proceed with the installation process: get the package, extract it if necessary, run any available setup, and follow the instructions displayed on-screen.

Bear in mind that, even though some package might also be compatible with other OSes, we do not recommend you install them on other platforms than the specified ones. You should also perform a system reboot at the end, to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That being said, if you wish to install this bundle, click the download button and apply the included software. Also, make sure you constantly check with our website so that you don't miss a single new release.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
